Andrew Graziano doing his part during COVID-19
Andrew Graziano helped out as a nurse during the Covid-19 pandemic before going starting his Anesthesiology residency.
A very big shout out to recently matched Saba student Andrew Graziano (Anesthesiology/ UMKC) ….getting ready to start work as an ICU/ED nurse in the Covid-19 unit at the hospital while he waits for his residency to begin July 1. Says Andrew, “Before med school, I was an ICU/ER registered nurse. I worked during H1N1 and Ebola. I know that I do not start as a resident until 1 July. Offered to help out as a nurse during this chaos. The hospital is in the process of onboarding me to work in one of the COVID-19 units. I can’t sit idly when I know that I could help.”
